I think this shoot marks the end of my 2009 shooting schedule.  I can't imagine anything else coming up at this time of year.  Of course, now that I've said that there will be some major photography need that will come up.  lol  And you know what?!  I'll totally try my best to make it happen!!!

Anyway, this couple wanted pictures for their Christmas cards - with them AND their dogs.  Two of the sweetest Labs EVER, who just happen to be brother and sister.  They are young though, which presented some challenges, but it was nothing some distracting runners timed just at the right moment (and some dog biscuits) didn't fix.

There are often a few funny pictures that come from a session.  Some I take intentionally, some just happen.  Here are a few I wanted to share from yesterday's post.......just because they crack me up!!

This was taken while we were messing around during a clothing change.  I had NO IDEA these were painted on the wall - I can't WAIT to take a Senior girl here!!!! 

Does she look scared to you?!  Because she TOTALLY is.  This is actually ON a bridge that has water running under it.  And we put her in the bucket hoping she'd stay.  She did.  Twice!  Who knew my bucket could double as a dog-carrier.  Poor thing!  I promise she had fun the rest of the time........no dogs were permanently traumatized during this shoot!!!

Doesn't the big dog look like he's laughing???!!  AWESOME!  J & L?  I think you totally need to use this photo for your Christmas card!!!!
 
 
 

J + L......Downtown Waxahachie

This couple won my raffle for a free session at the Midlothian Fall Festival.  And they brought their dogs!!!  How much fun is that?!  Lemme tell you though......dogs are WAY harder to wrangle than kids.  I even brought my assistant (aka my son, JC) along to help, but I think all he really wanted to do was take the little dog home with him.  Go figure.

**I still have a few spots left for sessions before Christmas.  They're going fast though, so if you're thinking about scheduling do it sooner rather than later.  The deadline for ordering prints/products for delivery by Christmas is December 6.  If you're planning on getting cards - you might want to do it even sooner than that so you can get them in the mail.
